Kurset henvender sig til teknisk personale i virksomheders IT-afdelinger samt personer med ansvar for remote eller virtuelle desktops. Forudsætninger: Deltagere på kurset bør som minimum have følgende færdigheder inden for VMware-infrastruktur:

  • •Bruge VMware vSphere® Web Client til at se tilstanden på virtuelle maskiner, datastores og netværk
  • Åbne en virtuel maskines konsol på VMware vCenter Server® og tilgå gæste-operativsystemet
  • Oprette snapshots af virtuelle maskiner
  • Konfigurere guest customization specifications
  • Modificere virtuelle maskiners egenskaber
  • Konvertere en virtuel maskine til en skabelon
  • Implementere en virtuel maskine fra en skabelon Deltagere på kurset bør som minimum have følgende færdigheder inden for Microsoft Windows systemadministration:
  • Konfigurere Active Directory services, inkl. DNS, DHCP og tids-synkronisering
  • Begrænse brugeres aktiviteter ved at implementere Group Policy objects
  • Konfigurere Windows-systemer, så de tillader Remote Desktop-forbindelser
  • Bygge en ODBC-forbindelse til en SQL Server-database
