Alle Microsoft platforme kan i korte træk styres og administreres i Windows PowerShell. Derfor er scriptsproget bredt anvendt både inden for Azure og on-premise løsninger. På kurset får du først og fremmest en forståelse for, hvordan PowerShell pipeline virker. Den skiller sig markant ud fra andre Shell-sprog, blandt andet fordi den er objektorienteret. Det er helt centralt at erhverve sig en god forståelse for PowerShell pipeline, for at man efterfølgende kan arbejde med og anvende PowerShell til automatisering og administration af bl.a. en lang række Windows-baserede servere. (Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, System Center…) Hvor der i mange andre Shell-sprog sendes fx tekst igennem pipeline, sendes der i PowerShell objekter igennem pipeline. Data er dermed langt mere kompleks, og skal derfor behandles markant anderledes end i mange andre traditionelle Shell-sprog. Kurset er begrebsfokuseret, men samtidig er der rig mulighed for at få praktisk erfaring og hands-on. Du kommer til selv at konstruere en pipeline og arbejde med den for at få den bedst mulige forståelse af PowerShell pipeline. Derudover erhverver du dig en række værktøjer og redskaber til at arbejde med PowerShell. Yderligere vil du blive fortrolig med hjælpesystemet i PowerShell, som optimerer arbejdet med PowerShell markant og gør det langt mere strømlignet. I de sidste dage på kurset vil du komme til at bruge PowerShell i praksis på en virkelighedsnær måde. Her vil du få erfaring med at bygge PowerShell scripts og PowerShell moduler. Derigennem har du mulighed for at bruge din nyerhvervede viden om bl.a. PowerShell pipeline og hjælpesystemet i en relevant praktisk sammenhæng.
