MOC 20411: Administering Windows Server 2012

Kursusmål På dette kursus arbejder vi med administration, konfiguration af især netværksrelaterede roller på Windows Server 2012r2 heriblandt DNS, Network Policy Server, Network Access Protection, Windows Deployment Services og meget mere. På kurset beskæftiger vi os bl.a. med den nye feature Reverse Proxy, som gør det muligt at skubbe autorisation af brugere ud i vores DMZ, når de tilgår websider inde på netværket.
På baggrund af kurset kan du implementere netværk services på en mere effektiv måde. Du vil lære at lave avancerede løsninger, der har et langsigtet perspektiv, og du undgår dermed at ende ud med halve løsninger, der ikke er holdbare for virksomheden på den lange bane.
Kurset er forberedende til 70-411 eksamen, som er nummer to i alt tre certificeringer for at opnå en MCSA på Windows Server 2012.

Deltagere Kurset er rettet mod dig, der har kendskab til de grundlæggende elementer af Windows Server 2012, men gerne vil lære mere om de netværksrelaterede services, der er i serveren. Det er en forudsætning, at du enten har deltaget på 20-410 eller har tilsvarende viden inden kurset.
Kursusmateriale Kurset bliver afholdt på dansk, men vi benytter Microsofts digitale materiale (DMOC), som er på engelsk. På kurset bliver der stillet en Surface tablet til rådighed, som kan anvendes til læsning af materialet. Du vil efterfølgende have adgang til materialet både online og lokalt. I tilfælde af at Microsoft laver en ny version af kursusmaterialet, vil du automatisk få adgang til det. Derudover vil du have adgang til øvelser via Microsoft Labs Online i 19 dage i alt, og du kan derfor fortsætte eller starte forfra på en øvelse hjemmefra, under eller efter kurset, alt efter behov.

Module 2: Maintaining Active Directory Domain Services


This module explains how to implement virtualized domain controllers and read-only domain controller (RODCs). It also explains how to perform common AD DS administrative tasks and manage the AD DS Database.

Module 3: Managing User and Service Accounts


This module explains how to create, configure and automate the creation of user accounts. It also explains how to configure account-related properties of user objects. It further explains how to create and administer Managed Service Accounts.

Module 5: Managing User Desktops with Group Policy


This module explains how you can use Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to implement desktop environments across your organization by using Administrative Templates, Folder Redirection, Group Policy preferences, and where applicable, use software deployment to install and update application programs. It is important to know how to use these various GPO features so that you can configure your users' computer settings properly.
